Aman Law — Swiss-Managed Legal Platform
Swiss-managed legal platform connecting Syrian and Swiss lawyers with international clients across multiple practice areas.
I built Aman Law, a Swiss-managed platform connecting Syrian and Swiss lawyers with international clients across multiple practice areas. The clients, the lawyers and the applicable law are frequently in three different places.
What I built
- Lawyer profiles organised by practice area and qualifying jurisdiction
- Client intake that routes a matter to a lawyer actually qualified for it
- Multilingual interface for clients arriving in different languages
- Confidential-by-default permission model on every case record
- Laravel with Inertia and React, so the app feels immediate without a separate SPA build
The engineering decision
The hard part of legal software is never the interface. It is modelling who is permitted to see what — and being able to demonstrate that afterwards.
Most directory-style sites treat access as a display concern: hide the button. In legal work it is a data concern. If the record can be reached, it does not matter that the link was hidden. That distinction shaped the entire permission layer.
