Klipp — AI-Powered Salon Management
SaaS platform for salons and barbershops: bookings, POS, inventory, staff scheduling, AI hair-makeover previews and analytics — all in one platform.
I built Klipp to put an AI hair-makeover preview at exactly the moment of hesitation. But a preview on its own is a demo, not a business — so it sits inside a full operations platform the salon uses all day.
What I built

- Analytics on bookings, staff utilisation and revenue
- Android app for booking on the go
The engineering decision
The lesson I keep relearning: an AI feature is only ever as good as the boring system around it. A beautiful preview attached to a scheduler that double-books at 6pm on a Friday is worth nothing — the salon will stop using both.
So the scheduling engine got more of my time than the AI did. That is usually the right ratio, and it is almost never the one in the pitch deck.
